Issue Position

I believe that our public servants should be just that, "servants." Too often, our candidates get elected to public office only to fall prey to the entrenched special interests of Jefferson City. For a time, I worked in Jefferson City as a legislative assistant. I saw how special interests can put their hand on the shoulder of a newly elected legislator and show them "how things work in Jeff City."

I, on the other hand, know who my friends are. They are my neighbors living right here in our community -- the folks Christine and I run into at the grocery store, at church, or while catching an afternoon coffee -- not lobbyists and special interests.
